Intimate Engagement Session | Rachel and Dillon
Rachel and Dillon are a romance book lovers dream. Their intimate engagement session on their parents property was an absolute dream. These two have the chemistry, they’re so sweet, and they have the cutest engagement story I’ve literally ever heard in my entire life.
These two were attendees of the Metropolitan Weddings Expo this past summer and when we met, we all clicked! While I’m pretty sure they liked CJ before they liked me, it’s a forgivable mistake and we still love them. Our booth was set up to show people our exact style. Vintage frames filled with stand-out photos.
These two have a very intimate wedding planned out. Their engagement session was in the exact same place their wedding will take place next spring! The big tree in the background of the rain photos will be the ceremony backdrop. This will also allow us to have fantastic call backs on their wedding day for better story telling.
Speaking of rain photos, I’m not one to reschedule often. I love snow, rain, lighting (okay maybe not like a thunderstorm, but a distant little sparkle.) And these two sure as heck weren’t afraid of a little rain! The beginning of their session was a perfect drizzle that allowed us to get the Notebook style rainy photos, but it also cleared up enough that none of us were miserable.
We are so looking forward to their wedding next year. They chose a photo and video collection, which means double the dreamy moments together. It’s so important to add video on to your coverage. You’ll want to hear those laughs and voices on your favorite day for the rest of your life. There’s nothing better than hearing your dads words, moms laughs, or grandmas dance moves in action to compliment the perfect photo of the memory.
